What makes the food you cook special?
I have a passion for food, and that shines through in what I make. Being health conscious does not mean limiting you taste buds OR your sweet tooth. I can show you how to eat and what to eat, while indulging. Please visit my website and blog at "Diary of a Sweet Tooth" www.diaryofasweettooth.com

My mother was a catering and while growing up I wish I could say that I was allowed to sit in the kitchen and watch her cook ... but I wasn't, she dominated, and gained the name "Kitchen Bully." It was her kitchen, her turf. She taught us to love food, entertaining, and celebrating yet was unable to let anyone else help prepare dinner ... the catch side was, I became a master at baking desserts. After finishing my undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University I went to The French Culinary Institute and focused on Classic Pastry Arts. My love for food grew with my experience working both on the culinary side and pastry side of New York caterers. To this day my mother beats me in cooking, but my skills and experience has helped make me a creative and healthy eater and, more importantly, chef.
What is your favorite dish to cook, and why?
I like to use ingredients that normal people would turn away from and make them delicious. I love introducing people to new things, whether it be celery root or marscapone.
Is there anything else you wish to tell your customers?
I have 5+ years of catering experience and have catered the needs of more clients that I can count, which gives me excellent experience when it comes to defining my "range." You need it, I can do it well, and I'll make it pretty.
